Area of Interest / Research
Hearts 1st provides a broad service of diagnostic testing assessing cardiac conditions including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease and rhythm disorders.
We have a particular interest in the following areas:
- Contrast (Definity) imaging with echo and stress echo imaging
- Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) detection via agitated saline imaging
- Athlete screening with sporting bodies such as Queensland Academy of Sport, Queensland Reds, Broncos.
- Varied research work in conjunction with Gallipoli Medical Research
