Sonographer

Hearts 1st is a unique workplace in that all of our Cardiac Sonographers have been trained in-house and have progressed through various stages of training in ECG prior to commencing cardiac ultrasound training. Sonographers receive hands-on training from experienced sonographers and echocardiologists in conjunction with the Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound. The Cardiac Sonographer’s role encompasses performing transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and assisting with transoesophageal echocardiograms.
